Description

If your passion is to make a significant contribution to building a thriving local church in your community, this devotional is for you.

Each day it will:
- Focus your praying on specific aspects of your local church family
- Grow your understanding of the nature and purpose of the local church, and
- Provoke you to practically play your part in building your local church

Jesus said, 'I will build my church and the gates of hell will not overcome it' (Matthew 16:18). Our task is to build with Him and for Him; to build only the wonderful, multifaceted church we read about in the Bible, and through it to bring salvation and freedom to our world.

For that to happen, you must bathe your local church - its people, projects and wider community - in prayer, because prayer draws God into your church-building endeavours and ensures we build His House and no other.
