John Edwards spent 20 years of his life as a drug addict and alcoholic in Dublin, Ireland. At times he was homeless, suicidal, abused, admitted to psychiatric hospitals. He's suffered from cancer twice, and has had a liver transplant. During that time he witnessed many of his friends and loved ones dying. He then experienced an incredible encounter with God and although was still addicted for 3 years after his conversion to Christ he has now been sober for over 23 years. John has set up several Christian rehabilitation centres, homeless outreach and feeding centres. He is married, a stepfather and grandfather, whose ministry includes everyone from millionaires, business people and street folk. 224 pages
