Since the growth of industry in this country, human beings have found it increasingly difficult to relate Christian teaching to the actual circumstances of their working lives. Thus the impression has grown that Christianity is all right for domestic life, but doesn't make sense in the real world of industry. The Church's Industrial Mission is a response to this situation, and this book gathers together some of the insights which have emerged over the years from conversations and discussions between industrial chaplains and laypeople.
