Butchange can also be an unsettling and, attimes, frightening experience that seemsto threaten our security and sense ofwell-being.Through the Scriptures we can learn toaccept the reality of change in theknowledge that we have an unchangingGod whose purpose for us is perfect.From this perspective we can embracechange—even welcome it—knowingthat ‘all things work together for good tothose who love God, to those who arethe called according to Hispurpose’ (Romans 8:28).
