Description

The King is coming, and he is going to reward all those who are rich in the land,’ declared the King’s messenger one winter’s day. Greedy Squirrel was determined to get the reward and started stashing nuts and acorns all over the wood. In the process he made fun of the creatures who shared what they had instead of selling it, and he ignored those who needed shelter or food, including a poor beggar man. Finally spring arrived and the King commanded all his subjects to appear before him to get their reward... The story is based on Matthew 25:40 ’I tell you the truth. Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.
