It’s Easter, and village life carries on in its quiet way… or does it? Rosemary has decided to ‘do good’ to some needy (as she sees it) people, but things aren’t working out quite as planned; people and situations are more complex than she expected! Meg is getting used to a new way of life, while battling with old patterns of behaviour; Barny is facing circumstances he can’t control; and Jason struggles to come to terms with serious life choices. And what about the enigmatic bridge near the neighbouring village of Fall’s End? What really is so special about the old ‘bridge to nowhere’, and why are so many people being drawn there? This is the second story set in the quaint English village of Nun’s Drift. It’s a further weaving together of the lives of Meg and Barny, Rosemary and Jason, facing challenges of letting go, thinking through issues of choices and control, not judging, and acceptance: learning to trust the Good Shepherd, even when life doesn’t make sense. A thought-provoking, honest and poignant story, laced with gentle humour.
