Finally, Pink addresses the proper attitude believers should take towards God’s sovereignty, and how to overcome obstacles in doing so. Pink was a student of theologians like St. Augustine, St. Aquinas, John Calvin, and Jonathan Edwards, and his writing reflects many of their views. Ultimately, however, Pink believed that true faith rests “not in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.”
