Shaped By The Gospel

As a long–time pastor, best–selling author Tim Keller was intimately aware that although many churches claimed to be gospel–centered, they did not have a ministry that was shaped by, centered on, and empowered through the gospel. The implications of the gospel had not yet worked their way into the fabric of how those churches did ministry. Knowing that in order for the gospel–centered ministry to be not only affective but authentic, he sought to create a resource for pastors, church staff, and advanced lay leaders that would help their ministries become more theologically driven than program driven.
