Let Dreams Come True

In the weeks preparing for  Advent Let Dreams Come True  looks at great spiritual influences such as Abraham, the prophets, stirred with vision who prepared God’s way; and finally the God-bearers, such as Hannah in the Old Testament and Mary, the mother of Jesus in the New Testament. The course has the added advantage of including an optional extra 4 weeks which can be followed in November, in the weeks preceding Advent. This season richly explores the seasonal and spiritual themes of November and Winter, a time of transformation when treasures of the earth and of the heart are formed slowly and silently as we wait in the darkness, watching and preparing for the journey into hope and light. The two sections expertly weave together the themes of remembrance in November with those of Advent – the tides of the past meeting with the tides of time to come.
