Contributors in this issue: David Winter is retired from parish ministry. an honorary Canon of Christ Church, Oxford, he is well known as a writer and broadcaster. His most recent book for BRF is Pilgrim's Way. In this issue, David will be writing on Fathers of the Faith. Steve Aisthorpe lives in Scotland with his wife and two sons. He is a development officer for the Church of Scotland, encouraging mission and discipleship throughout the Highlands and Western Isles. He was previously Executive Director of the International Nepal Fellowship. In this issue Steve will be writing on John 3:22-5:40. Veronica Zundel is an Oxford graduate, writer and journalist. She lives with her husband and son in North London, where they belong to the Mennonite Church. Veronica will be writing about Galatians in this issue. Naomi Starkey is the Editor of New Daylight. She also edits Quiet Spaces, BRF's prayer and spirituality journal, as well as commissioning BRF's range of books for adults. She has written Good Enough Mother for BRF, and in this issue she will be discussing the subject of Convenant people in Exodus. Gordon Giles is a vicar in Enfield, north-west London, previously based at St. Paul's Cathedral, where his work involved musical and liturgical responsibilities. He is trained in music, philosophy and theology. Gordon will be writing on words of blessing in this issue. Jennifer Oldroyd worked for many years at the Ashburnham Place conference centre in East Sussex. She was Managing Editor for a major Christian publisher, and in the last few years has had published two books of study material for small groups. In this issue, Jennifer will be writing on Snapshots of Jesus in Matthew. Helen Julian CSF is an Anglican Franciscan sister, currently serving her community as Minister Provincial. She has written Living the Gospel and The Road to Emmaus for BRF. In this issue Helen will be writing on Babylon. Rachel Boulding is Deputy Editor of the Church Times. Before this, she was Senior Liturgy Editor at Church House Publishing. She lives in Dorset with her husband and son - and, during school terms, more that 70 teenage boys. In this issue, Rachel will be writing about Holy Week. Stephen Cottrell is the Bishop of Reading. He has worked in parishes in London and Chichester, as Missioner in the Wakefield diocese and as part of Springboard, the Archbishop's evangelism team. Stephen will be writing on the significance of the resurrection in this issue. Stephen Rand is a writer and speaker who in recent years has shared his time between Jubilee Debt Campaign, persecuted church charity Open Doors and Mainstream, a Baptist church leaders' network. He and his wife Susan live in Oxfordshire, not too far from their grandchildren. In this issue Stephen will be writing on the deeds of David.
