Bach and German Romantic Organ Music CD

Description

Performed on the Klais Organ of the Stadtkirche, Rottenburg/Wumme. Designed in 1979 on classical principles it has mechanical action with some stops voiced in the French style, making it eminently suitable for performances of Bach and Romantic organ music.

The album comprises three works representative of the scope of Bach’s organ compositions; Chorale Preludes in the Romantic style of Brahms; and a complete Sonata of Mendelssohn.

Alexander Fiseisky is Russia’s most influential organist and has recorded the complete organ works of J.S.Bach.
