Description

An inspirational collection of prayers by the finest spiritual writers for both public and personal use. The first half is for ministers and the bereaved to draw upon when planning a funeral. This is followed by prayers and thoughts that the minister may wish to suggest to the bereaved for their own use. All the prayers have this in common: they are not simply plasters to smother the wounds of loss but are there to express the reality of grief and pain, while also speaking of comfort and hope that goes beyond this moment and beyond ourselves.
