Description

This book puts everything at the finger tips of the reader to see for themselves the word 'elect' should not be in the bible It is a reasonable historical case for the removal of the word 'elect' from the English bible The word 'elect' is translated in the New Testament from the Greek word EKLEKTOS Every place where EKLEKTOS occurs in the Septuagint (LXX) - the Greek Old Testament version that Christians used for the first few centruries - is shown and thus identify the 24 Hebrew words it translates, then every place each of those Hebrew words is found is quoted, the Greek word used to redner those recognised and a full analysis then reveals beyond any reasonable doubt that both EKLEKTOS and the Hebrew word BACHIR were understood by the early Christian as 'excellent': there is no reasonable case for elect/chosen/selected as a concept to be seen as a meaning for either these two source words.
