Description

Try to imagine the stir caused by Christ’s healing miracles, as suffering people from all over Israel flocked to him during his time on earth. Of the hundreds of people he restored, sixteen specific incidents are recorded in the Gospels. He healed lepers, made the blind to see and the deaf to hear - no disease or ailment was a match for His healing powers. Each cure was unique, and each encounter had a purpose beyond the individual’s physical restoration. It was the person’s spiritual well-being that concerned Christ the most.

This Bible study seeks to draw the reader closer to the Great Physician by highlighting the boundless compassion he felt for those who suffered, while bringing to life the great variety of people who came to him, the many ways they encountered him, and how he treated each one as a precious individual whom he came to save.
