Eschatology

Description

What does Christian hope look like within the African context? In this eleventh volume from the annual conference of the Africa Society of Evangelical Theology, experts explore an African Christian eschatology that meets the felt-needs of people across the continent. This collection brings together insights from biblical scholars, and systematic and practical theologians to construct a diverse understanding of Christian hope that is not only for the future but is also made tangible in the present. From the biblical exegesis and exploration of various eschatological theories to the qualitative investigation of the practical realities of these theologies being lived out, these ground-breaking essays prove to be a must-read for those interested in a contemporary African understanding of Christian hope.
