This album title is drawn from Britten’s setting of Rejoice in the Lamb by 18 th c. English poet Christopher Smart. Smart declared his work to be a praise of God from every ‘nation, language and creature in which is the breath of life’.

Featuring Rejoice in the Lamb (Britten) and works by other key 20th c. composers the album also includes two miniatures from earlier generations; Bairstow, and Palestrina.
