From Identity to Image

Description

Who Are You? Discovering Your True Identity in Christ

The world insists that your identity is something you discover within yourself. The Bible tells a very different story.

In a culture where questions of sexuality, gender and identity dominate conversations, this clear, biblical guide helps young Christians think carefully and faithfully about who they really are. Rather than allowing feelings or desires to define us, it shows that our identity is rooted in God's design, our creation in his image, and our redemption through Jesus Christ.

Beginning with the Bible's account of humanity and tracing the effects of sin, the rise of modern identity thinking and the hope of the gospel, this accessible guide equips readers to understand today's debates through a thoroughly biblical lens. It challenges popular assumptions while pointing to the freedom, purpose and joy found in Christ.

Ideal for students, youth groups and anyone wrestling with these questions, this book offers a compassionate but uncompromising call to see ourselves as God does—and to live accordingly.
