Killing Sin and Denying Self

Description

We all have the same problem: sin. In this book, Thomas Watson puts our sin on full display not to leave us wallowing in despair but to heighten our appreciation of God’s matchless grace. He begins by tracing the miserable consequences of Adam’s sin and the pervasive grip it has on our lives to this day. He goes on to detail the ways and reasons sin brings us so low and the proper ways to respond. He concludes by walking us through the duty of denying sinful self-absorption. Watson helps us understand how sin causes us to fall short of God’s best for us and points us to the remedy in Christ.
