Some aspects of our inherited church culture are good, but other aspects can degrade Christ's Body unnoticed. David Brown uses the biblical metaphor of leaven to explore the issue of church culture - the power it wields and the unquestioning loyalty it can inspire. He argues that the issue needs to addressed head on and replaced where necessary with the radical and creative culture of the leaven of the Kingdom of God.
