Let's Read the Gospels Bible

Description

Pairing the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, and Acts with engaging prompts, this Gospels-only NLT Bible allows readers to experience Jesus's transformative words in a new way—from the New York Times bestselling author of Don't Let That Hold You Back

It’s no surprise that the world feels increasingly tumultuous—one only has to open social media or scroll the headlines to feel a sense of dread. In response to this heaviness, many are finding hope by turning to their Bibles and other Scripture-centered content.

Reading the Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—each month has been a life-shifting practice for Annie F. Downs since 2020. She quickly realized that, even though she didn't need to read the Gospels every day to be changed, every day spent in the Gospels did change her.

Inspired by her own transformative experience with the words and stories of Jesus, the Let’s Read the Gospels Bible includes the full text of Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, and Acts in the New Living Translation alongside Annie's insights for each Gospel reading. Additional content includes: • thoughtful prompts and writing space for journaling and reflection at the end of each book • several Bible reading plans with checkmark boxes so you can try out different ways of engaging with the Gospels • prayer request log for recording prayers and the way God answers • unique liturgies as you finish reading each book

May the Let’s Read the Gospels Bible equip you to connect with and reflect on His words each day, guiding you into deeper engagement with Scripture and increased hope as you experience greater intimacy with Jesus.
