Description

Robert Crowley performs the atmospheric organ works of self-taught composer Humphrey Clucas at St Albans Cathedral. The organ (William Hill 1861, remodelled by Henry Willis & Son 1929 and rebuilt by Harrison & Harrison 1962) has become famous throughout the world due to the St Albans annual International Organ Festival.

The selection includes the substantial  Sinfonietta, Three Plainsong Preludes, and a rigorous Passacaglia
