Ian Ball performs French symphonic works on Gloucester Cathedral ’s unique, French-influenced organ. Originally constructed in 1666, rebuilt and redesigned by Hill Norman & Beard 1971 this recording captures its rare combination of French Reeds, lush transparent Foundations and bright Mixtures. 

Includes Vierne’s Symphony No. 3 and a Cochereau suite transcribed by David Briggs.
