Teaching Exodus Volume 2

Description

Discover the Glory of God's Presence

The second half of Exodus reveals the God who not only redeems his people but chooses to dwell among them. From the renewal of the covenant to the construction of the tabernacle, these chapters display God's holiness, mercy, and desire to live in the midst of his redeemed people—truths that ultimately find their fulfilment in Christ.

Teaching Exodus Vol. 2: From Text to Message is a practical guide for pastors, Bible teachers, and small group leaders seeking to teach these often-overlooked chapters with confidence and clarity. Rather than offering a verse-by-verse commentary, Douglas L. Johnson provides the biblical and theological framework needed to faithfully communicate Exodus's message while helping listeners see its place within God's unfolding plan of redemption.

Each section combines careful exposition with practical teaching guidance, equipping readers to move from biblical text to faithful application. Whether preparing sermons or leading Bible studies, this volume helps teachers handle these rich passages with confidence.

Features include:

• An overview of the major themes in the closing chapters of Exodus
• Passage-by-passage guidance for teaching the text
• Suggested sermon and lesson outlines
• Discussion questions for small groups and Bible studies
• Christ-centred insights that connect Exodus to the gospel and the whole story of Scripture

Ideal for pastors, elders, ministry leaders, and Bible study leaders, this second volume provides an accessible and trustworthy companion for teaching the climactic conclusion of Exodus with faithfulness, clarity, and conviction.
