The Star

Description

A beautifully illustrated Christmas story to share with children and delight in the wonder of the birth of Jesus.

One winter's night, a woodcarver catches sight of a new shining star through his window. Where had it come from?

This heart-warming picture book follows the journey of the woodcarver to the stable where newborn baby Jesus sleeps peacefully. Having given toys that he had made in exchange for food on his journey, all he has left is a little splinter of wood shaped into a star. Looking into the shining face of baby Jesus, he gives this loving gift to light his life, before slipping away, knowing he had found the richest treasure of all.

A book to cuddle up and pause in the middle of this busy time and share a treasured moment together with your child or a group of children.
