The Test of the Two Sons

Description

In a humble African village known for football talent and spiritual devotion, Adisa and Aminata struggle to raise their two sons—Duma, the rebellious elder, and Chinedu, the spiritually inclined but easily swayed younger brother. As Chinedu rises to local fame in a football tournament, his internal conflict grows, and he finally turns to his mother for guidance, seeking a better path. But just as hope begins to flicker, both boys vanish along with a notorious gang of five friends.

A deceptive encounter with a fake rich man almost leads them down a dark path, but they are rescued, arrested, and returned home—humbled but not yet transformed. After a divine dream, Adisa devises a test. A giant heap of village rubbish is brought to their compound.

The boys are given a simple offer: clear the trash for a small reward. Duma scoffs and leaves. Chinedu stays, sensing hidden opportunity.

What he finds buried beneath the rubble changes everything: a hidden stash of gold and diamonds.
