There are many people who believe in God, who are not, and would not want to be, identified as a Christian. There are those who would identify as a Christian, but who do so more from their cultural and religious background rather than from an understanding of how the Bible defines that identity. There are even more people who are uncertain of where they stand. Some go to a church, others do not, and some dabble in a variety of spiritual practices without a clear understanding of where such practices fit in with Christianity.   This booklet aims to help individuals and groups know and understand where they stand on the matter. It does this by identifying being a Christian with being in God’s New Covenant. Although concisely written, it gives a broad sweep over God’s purposes in Creation and the giving of the law, before homing in on the New Testament teaching of what it means to be part of the New Covenant in Jesus Christ, and to know the security that brings.
